For Standardsized types:

The appliance inlet/plug connector has finely ground pins of hardened steel, having a surface roughness not exceeding 0,8 µm over their active length and spaced at the nominal distance with a tolerance of + 0,02/- 0 mm.

The pin dimensions have the maximum values, with a tolerance of + 0/- 0,01 mm, except that the pin length need only comply with the tolerance of the Standards sheet, and the inner dimensions of the shroud have the minimum values, with a tolerance of + 0,1/-0 mm, specified in the relevant Standards sheet.

NOTE 2 The maximum value is the nominal plus the maximum tolerance. The minimum value is the nominal minus the maximum tolerance.
